Another missing child!
Ms. Oluchi Oke's one year and a month old baby was stolen on a Monday afternoon somewhere in obio Akpor local government area of Rivers state.
According to reports the 13 months old baby was being carried by her elder Sister who is 6yrs old. They had just closed from lesson and were on their way to their mother's shop when a woman in a tricycle (keke napep) snatched the 13months old child and took off..
Ms Oluchi who is devastated about the incident said she was separated from her husband and he had denied being the father of the child, and as such she hasn't called him to inform him about the situation because they haven't been in good terms and she doesn't suspect he has a hand in the kidnap, she also said she has reported the case to the police and they have asked her to constantly show up to the police station, Ms. Oluchi also added that "i have left everything to God" and gave out a possible means of identifying the child by stating that "the baby has 2 birthmarks under her armpit and big eyeballs!"
Meanwhile the state police public relations officer Mr Nnamdi Omoni, told the daily that he was yet to be briefed about the mater.
please parents should be very careful and keep a close watch on their children as the rate of kidnap is on the increase!
