Two to serve 6yrs imprisonment for stealing Nokia battery and other gadgets..

An Edo state magistrate court has sentenced a 19 year old Happy Okotie and Kingsley Ebose to 6yrs imprisonment for theft, they were said to have stolen some gadgets and a Nokia battery!

 The police prosecutor Mr Patrick Agbonifo said the offence was committed in August 25 2016 at oredo local government area in new Benin. Where they both broke into Tessy Okpebiye's store and stole a Nokia battery, two Samsung Galaxy phones,one laptop and N17,000 cash sum. Mr Patrick added that the total sum of the stolen items were worth N235,000 and the offence breached the section 516 and 411 of the criminal code, cap, volume II, law of the defunct Bendel state of Nigeria 1986 as applicable in Edo state.

They were found guilty on two counts of burglary by Magistrate Mrs Racheal Ogbevoen.
