A Determined Striker's Pledge to Bring Glory to Nigeria: Victor Osimhen.

Following the qualification to the quarter-final, star striker for the Super Eagles, Victor Osimhen, has declared that he is prepared to give it everything he has to win the AFCON trophy for Nigeria.

Osimhen, who has been one of the tournament's star performers, assisted the Eagles in making it to the quarterfinals on Saturday. 

Even though the reigning African Player of the Year has only scored one goal in this year's AFCON—against Equatorial Guinea—his relentless pushing allowed him to outrun a Cameroonian defender and put up Ademola Lookman for the first goal.

On Osasu Obayiuwana's X account, he stated, "I want to win something with this great squad."

"I want to give Nigeria something that they will remember. I’m giving everything to come home with the [AFCON] trophy."

The Super Eagles is scheduled to play Angolan Palancas Negras in a quarterfinal match. On Friday.
