Caught in The Act

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Benjamin Hundeyin, the command's spokeswoman, revealed in a statement that, two males in possession of seventy cartons of outdated medicines were taken into custody by Lagos State Police Command operators. 

The PPRO claims that when the suspicious Volkswagen LT bus was halted for a search by Okokomaiko Division police, 70 cartons of Feed Fine Cyproheptadine Caplets 4g were discovered; all of the cartons had an expiration date of 2016. 

When questioned, the two passengers on the bus claimed that they were taking the pills that had run out of time to someone in Alaba so that they could extend their expiration dates. From there, the drugs would be transported to Port Harcourt for sale.
