Nigerian Labour Congress Calls For Widespread Nationwide Protests

 In response to the nation's increasing economic suffering, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) leadership has announced a two-day statewide mass demonstration scheduled for February 27 and 28.

This was announced on Friday during a press conference being held at Labour House in Abuja by NLC President Joe Ajaero.

On February 9, the National Labor Council (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) gave the federal government a 14-day ultimatum to execute labor agreements to alleviate the nation's economic difficulties.
