Nigeria's Super Eagles have earned a spot in the Ivory Coast final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

On Wednesday, February 7, at the Stade de la Bouake, Nigeria overcame South Africa on penalties to move on to the championship round.

After 120 minutes of football that ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from both countries in the second half, the game was decided on penalties.

Out of five penalties, the Super Eagles converted four, while Bafana Bafana converted three.

Stanley Nwabali, the goaltender for the Super Eagles, was the night's hero after saving two penalty kicks during the shootout.
