Twelve kids were saved by FCT police, and Three Suspects Detained.

 On Friday, February 9, at around 12:55 a.m., members of the FCT Police Command's Rapid Response Squad 74 (RRS 74) apprehended Muhammad Isah'm of Kafanchan, Kaduna, who was driving a Toyota Hiace bus registered under the license plate APP 489 XE. He was carrying twelve, underage children (four male and eight female) to a location that was later determined to be in Ogun state.


According to a statement issued by FCT police command spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, a preliminary investigation found that two individuals, Pastor Simon Kado'm' and Jesse Simon Kado'm', were trafficking children aged between five and sixteen from Akwanga LGA, Nasarawa State, to Ogun State. The children are currently being held by the police.

 Adeh said that the Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh psc, mni, wishes to reiterate that the safety of residents remains his top priority, even though the investigation is still ongoing and efforts are being made in coordination with Nasarawa State Police Command to reunite victims with their respective families.
