A 4 Year Old Suddenly Passes Away In His School!

Miguel Ovoke, a four-year-old student at BrickHall Schools in Abuja, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, while he was dining there. 

According to Punch, the student became disruptive at mealtimes and was taken by ambulance from his school in Cadastral Zone B11, Kaura, Abuja, to Excel Specialist Hospital, which is located in the capital of the country.

According to the hospital's April 24, 2024, death certificate, the four-year-old youngster died after being brought in unconscious by his teachers at around eleven in the morning.

According to the medical report, which was signed by Dr. Akinwande Ajayi on behalf of the Medical Director, the deceased youngster was brought to the hospital "on account of aspiration on meat while feeding at school." 

After examining the boy, the hospital's medical staff reported that he had fixed, dilated pupils and was not responsive to light. His peripheral pulses were described as "impalpable, blood pressure was unrecordable, and there was no cardiopulmonary activity or respiratory excursions, silent chest," according to the doctors.

The final report said that the youngster had been "brought in dead," despite the medical team's best efforts to resuscitate him failing.

The article claims that the deceased's parents have approached human rights attorney Deji Adeyanju to take up the matter on their behalf because they believe there was foul play.

Currently, the school's administration has not released an official statement on the subject.
