Kannywood's Saratu Gidado (Daso) Passes On.

Saratu Gidado, popularly referred to as Daso, has passed. She was a seasoned actress in the Hausa-language Kannywood film business.  

Her family members claim that this morning, April 9, she was discovered dead in her flat.  

After Sahur, the early-morning Muslim breakfast for those keeping the Ramadan fast, Daso went back to sleep, according to his relatives, but he was later discovered dead.

Daso was born in Kano on January 17, 1968, and passed away at the age of 56.

She was especially well-known for her comedic portrayals of a combative and mischievous woman. In 2000, she made her feature film debut in the Sarauniya Pictures film Linzami Da Wuta.
