Mark Zuckerberg Surpasses Elon Musk On The Richest List For The First Time In Four Years.

As the price of Tesla's stock plummeted, Elon Musk's wealth fell below Mark Zuckerberg's for the first time in four years.

After being ousted by the founder of Facebook, Musk now stands as the fourth richest person in the world with a fortune worth $181 billion.

According to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, Zuckerberg, 40, is valued at $187 billion. Musk, 52, was the richest person in the world in March, but as Tesla's share price has dropped, his net worth has decreased. According to reports, Musk has lost almost $48.7 billion in wealth this year, and Tesla's stock has fallen more than 30% since January.

In yet another setback for Musk, a judge of the Brazilian Supreme Court began an investigation into the tech magnate yesterday, following Musk's declaration that he would restore X accounts that the court had ordered be disabled.

The multibillionaire declared that the limitations were no longer in effect, citing the unconstitutionality of the court ruling.

It followed X's announcement on Saturday that it had blocked some well-known accounts in Brazil due to court decisions.

According to Musk, the order may result in a complete loss of income and the closing of the South American company's operations.

Musk's wealth has decreased, but this year has seen enormous gains for his rivals.

The share price of Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, increased by more than 50% in 2024, bringing Zuckerberg's wealth to $58.8 billion.
