With N200 Billion In Debt, Petroleum Marketers Threaten To Stop Providing Services.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, or IPMAN, has threatened to severely disrupt the supply of Premium Motor Spirit, or PMS, also known as petrol, due to the non-payment of N200 billion in bridging claims, amid the country's growing fuel shortage.

The association's Unit Chairman and spokesperson, Mazi Oliver Okolo of Aba Depot, reportedly told Channels TV that the threat was made with support from the federal government.

According to him, the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, or NMDPRA, is the one responsible for the debt.
