3 Boko Haram And Their Families Surrender To Troops.

Three Boko Haram fighters have turned themselves in, to the soldiers of Operation Hadin Kai in Borno State, together with their families.


Early on May 29, 2024, the soldiers of 21 armoured Brigade Bama received the surrender of the insurgents, who were identified as Umar Ibn Khatab, Ibn Salih, and Abdulrahman, along with their spouses and kids.

Zagazola Makama, a counterinsurgency expert and security analyst, claims that the militants gave up after leaving the terrorist enclave in Njimia as a result of Operation Desert Sanity III forces conducting more intense operations inside the Sambisa Forest. 


They turned themselves in with a mobile phone, a bicycle, and a 2Ak 47 rifle loaded with 10 X 7.62mm X 39mm special ammo.

Currently being held by the military for profiling are the terrorists and their family.
