APC Chieftain Employs Nigerians Not To Give Up On President Tinubu's Regime.

Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has urged Nigerians to remain committed to President Bola Tunubu's administration.

Oyintiloye made the request on Sunday in Osogbo during a conversation with reporters.

Oyintiloye added that the president's various economic policies, like the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the naira, among others, which may have caused some discomfort, would form a strong foundation upon which a prosperous Nigeria would be built. She assured that Tinubu, a true democrat, would fulfill all of his electoral promises for the prosperity of Nigerians.

Even while it was clear that Nigerians were going through difficult times financially right now, the former congressman said there was still hope for a brighter and more affluent future.

“There is no doubt that Nigerians are facing hard times, but this is not deliberate, nor a sign of failure on the part of the president. For us to enjoy a prosperous Nigeria, we must be ready to sacrifice a little and that is what is currently happening.

Mr President meant well for Nigerians. He will not gain anything deliberately by inflicting pain on Nigerians. All the economic policies put in place by the president that are causing the pains are actually meant to strengthen our economy. Don’t give up on the president. He will do better and he will continue to improve on the welfare of Nigerians,” he said.

He hinted that the Tinubu administration came into office inheriting a struggling economy and that it would take time to turn it around for the good of Nigerians.

He claimed that in order to revive the nation's economy, the president had to implement several initiatives.

He stated that key sectors like effective farming methods, a strong marketing structure, a good healthcare system, education, better electricity, and combating corruption would be the means by which the revitalization would be accomplished.

“Government will continue to strengthen our economy by investing in industries and promoting local production, developing the agricultural value chain, which will help reduce our dependence on imports and crude oil,” he said.

Oyintiloye, however, pleaded with opposition party leaders to refrain from saying or telling stories that could further divide the nation.
