Singer Sean Kingston And Mother Face Multiple Fraud Charges In Florida After Million-Dollar Scheme Unveiled

After being detained with his mother for amassing merchandise valued at nearly a million dollars without making payments, singer Sean Kingston is now being prosecuted on ten counts in Florida.

The singer is accused of ten counts in connection with the raid that Sheriff's deputies carried out last week, the most serious of which is an alleged organized plot to defraud multiple companies, according to the Broward County arrest warrant that was obtained.

Sean and his mother, Janice Turner, are accused of defrauding a jeweler, an exotic car dealer, and numerous other businesses out of well over six figures. The jewelry was valued at an astounding $480K, while the car dealer is alleging that the other vehicle is a $159,701.49 Cadillac Escalade.

Sean also has a grand theft allegation against him for a custom bed that costs $86,568.33. The remaining accusations centre around writing bogus cheques and bank fraud. There are eight counts against Janice.

A probation breach is one of the charges brought against Sean. For trafficking in stolen goods, he was subject to probation.

Before being returned to Florida, he has an extradition hearing planned before a San Bernardino judge. Upon his arrest last Thursday, he has been detained without access to bail.
