103 Nigerians Deported From Turkey: Calls for Government Intervention and Support.

On Friday, June 28, a total of 123 Nigerians were deported from the Republic of Turkey and landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., the Southwind Airlines flight with registration number TC-GRB touched down at the airport's pilgrims wing. The deportees were greeted by a number of government organizations, including the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and members of the armed forces.

Their deportation's reason has not yet been determined. The irate exilees described their treatment, claiming that the European nation had treated them unfairly. They said that before being deported, they had been held by the Turkish government for more than 11 months.

For this reason, they demanded that the Nigerian government stand up for them and retrieve all of their belongings.
