FG Suggests a Minimum Wage of N62,000, but Labour Seeks N250,000.

Organized labour has lowered its demand for a new national minimum wage from N494,000 to N250,000, while the Federal Government has boosted its offer to N62,000.

The Tripartite Committee on the New National Minimum Wage convened today but adjourned without reaching an agreement.

The government's N62,000 offer was also supported by the organized private sector.
