Ghana Police Detain a Nigerian Guy for Stabbing a Fellow Nigerian Tenant.

Winner Terry, a 27-year-old Nigerian, has been placed under custody by the Buduburam District Police Command in Ghana's Central Region for reportedly repeatedly stabbing his fellow Nigerian tenant following a dispute with a broken bottle.

At Gomoa Buduburam's Estate Junction, the incident took place.

Reportedly, there was a violent disagreement between the suspect and the victim, Nann, regarding the royalties that songwriters should receive for their work.

They didn't know the suspect's hidden agenda when they got back to talking normally in his room after the argument.

Nann was rendered unconscious after Terry sliced him in the neck, shoulder, and leg.

He was taken to the ST Gregory Catholic Hospital in Buduburam by his neighbours, where he is presently undergoing treatment.

Terry tried to run away, but the police caught him. On Friday, June 21, 2024, he was charged before the Ofaakor Circuit Court and was placed under two weeks' detention.

On July 1, 2024, he is expected back in court.

Nana Amoasi, the landlord, expressed her disbelief about what had happened. He said that because of the victim's severe wounds, the suspect's acts were intentional.
