Alleged Killing of Police Inspector Hussaini Umar in Abuja.

Hussaini Umar, a police inspector in service, was allegedly killed in Abuja by individuals suspected to be part of a "one chance syndicate."

The deceased, Hussaini Umar, purportedly employed by the Force Intelligence Bureau (FID), reportedly boarded the gang's car on Friday and traveled from Maitama Junction in the city center to his residence in the Dei-Dei community of the Federal Capital Territory.

According to a police official in the convoy who preferred anonymity, Umar was stabbed by the robbers before being dropped near the NNPC Junction in Kubwa. Following the incident, another vehicle allegedly ran him over. He was subsequently transported to Kubwa General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His remains were later conveyed to Zaria for burial.
