Patience is Key: Senator Oshiomhole Urges Nigerians to Support President Tinubu's Administration.

Nigerians should exercise some patience with President Bola Tinubu's administration, according to Senator Adams Oshiomhole. This was said by Oshiomhole when answering questions on Sunday Politics on Channels Television.

This comes after the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that June 2024 saw an inflation rate of 34.19 percent. The present administration's withdrawal of the fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira were the main causes of the high cost of living.

Oshiomhole, a former governor who currently serves as the senator for Edo North, urged patience and expressed hope that Tinubu's ideas would eventually bear fruit. “You have to agree that some of the policy initiatives will require more than a year to materialise.

“What would the president gain by resorting to policy choices that are unlikely to deliver comfort in the long run?

“So, I think for me, it is about having faith that in the long run, these things will work out,” he said.
