Unidentified Man Climbs Mast in Abuja, Demands Restoration of Fuel Subsidies and End to Insecurity

An unidentified man has scaled a transmission mast on Katampe Hill in Abuja and made a threat to fall if his demands—that fuel subsidies be restored and insecurity be eliminated—are not realized.

Before ascending the mast, he left a suicide note at its base.

Officials from the Fire Service, NEMA, and FCT are there to subdue the man.
