Adele Interrupts Munich Show to Watch Olympic 100-Meter Final

Adele's love for the Olympics was evident when she interrupted her show to watch an exciting 11-second race. The singer-songwriter paused her performance on Saturday while she was in Munich, Germany, to watch the women's 100-meter final, shown on the enormous stadium screens.

The crowd fell silent as the race got underway, waiting to see Saint Lucian Julien Alfred take home the gold medal. American athletes Melissa Jefferson and Sha'carri Richardson won bronze and silver, respectively. Even though the entire thing lasted less than 11 seconds, Adele and her audience were enthralled.

Adele returned to her performance after the race with ease, but it was obvious that she was thinking about the Olympics in Paris, as did many of her famous colleagues.

Celebrities that have been sighted taking in the Olympic spirit in the City of Light include Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Nicole Kidman, Rebel Wilson, Jessica Chastain, Ariana Grande, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Flavor Flav, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Adele will play two performances a week in Munich till the end of the month as part of her extended stay in the German metropolis.
