Heartbroken Security Guard Shares Emotional Story After Fiancée Ends Relationship Due to Job Status

Kenny, a man from Benue who works as a security guard at a hotel in Abuja, is heartbroken after his fiancée ended their relationship.

He posted pictures of himself in tears, revealing that his fiancée left him because of his job as a security guard and his limited financial resources.

According to Kenny, a graduate of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic in Lafia, the woman accused him of humiliating her by sharing pictures of himself in his uniform on social media.

"I can't put your picture here or your name. But don't think I'm going to let go just like that, since you are still insulting me. Everyone is going to see this and know the kind of woman you are, for many people who know me know that I'm talking about you," Kenny wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

He continued, "Is it my fault not to have money? I have done everything possible and am still trying very hard every day just to see how God can help me."

Kenny explained that his fiancée left him because he didn't have enough money and worked as a security guard. She was upset that he was proud of his job and that her family and friends knew him as a security worker because he didn't hide it. "She said I disgrace her in public with my stupid security work," he added.

"She even asked me several times to do what my mates are doing, but I preferred working as a security guard just to disgrace her. As if I can create jobs myself or I'm God who gives jobs. This security work is something that I have chosen to do for now, pending when help comes from anywhere. I see every reason to be proud of whatever I'm doing because I believe God knows best," Kenny expressed.

In his emotional plea, he asked, "So please, my brothers and sisters, where have I gone wrong? Is it a bad thing to engage myself with the little work I have found, rather than doing nothing? Please, where have I gone wrong? Someone should help me. I'm in pain."
