Philippine Authorities Allegedly Discover Secret Passageway in Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s Estate Amidst Trafficking Allegations

Philippine authorities have uncovered a secret passageway leading to a concealed chamber in the estate of self-proclaimed “son of God,” Apollo Quiboloy, who is under investigation for various alleged crimes. Surveillance footage showed police unlocking a hidden entrance in Quiboloy's opulent 75-acre Davao City property, revealing a maze of tunnels and a secret chamber believed to have been used for illicit activities.

The discovery was part of a large-scale operation involving approximately 2,000 police officers who were dispatched to apprehend Quiboloy. The preacher, who has millions of followers, is facing charges in the US, including conspiracy to engage in human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

During the raid, two women believed to be victims were rescued. Authorities were alerted by a whistleblower, leading them to the secretive areas within the compound. Police reported signs of life about ninety feet underground, where Quiboloy is thought to be hiding with other followers.

Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos expressed concern over the estate's concealed structures, stating, “We are obtaining the blueprints from the engineering office of Davao City. It's a violation. Why are these hidden areas not declared?”

Quiboloy, who leads the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), is accused by the FBI of running a labor trafficking scheme and sexually exploiting women. The FBI’s Most Wanted list includes allegations that church members were brought to the US on fraudulent visas and forced into labor, with funds from these activities supporting the church's operations and the lavish lifestyles of its leaders.

The investigation continues as authorities scrutinize the extensive and hidden networks within Quiboloy's organization, which claims to have millions of members worldwide.
