President Tinubu Calls for Vigilance in Addressing Regional Security Threats

President Bola Tinubu has called on the Nigerian Armed Forces to be proactive and watchful in addressing threats to regional security.

Tinubu delivered the keynote address, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, at the course 32 graduation ceremony held at the Nigerian Defence College in Abuja. He emphasized that his administration is committed to ensuring that Nigeria is a secure place for investment and economic growth.

He further highlighted that strategic leadership is required to handle the nation's numerous security concerns.

Among the 111 participants in the course were nineteen international students. During his speech, the Vice President encouraged the attendees to uphold the principles of patriotism.

He also mentioned that the participants made key proposals in their overall report, which the federal government would investigate. Additionally, he pledged that his administration would complete the ongoing work at the National Defence College's permanent location.
