Strict Anti-Malpractice Measures Enforced at Nigerian Army's Senior Staff Course Exam
The 2024 Senior Staff Course Qualifying Examination (SSCQE) is currently taking place at the Headquarters Infantry Corps Centre, Jaji Military Cantonment, Jaji, Kaduna State. Major General Kevin Aligbe, Commander of Training and Doctrine Command, Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), has emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice.
In his address to the SSCQE applicants at the Ihejirika Auditorium, Jaji, Maj Gen. Aligbe, the examination president, issued a clear warning. He cautioned the applicants against engaging in any form of exam fraud, stating that violations could lead to severe penalties, potentially affecting their career advancement.
The examination president urged candidates to seize this opportunity, highlighting that passing the exam is essential for enrollment in the Senior Staff Course at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji, or any other subscribed staff college abroad. He stated, "The examination is not only about writing a test; it is also an assessment of their present level of proficiency that will determine their capabilities to undertake higher responsibilities."
Maj Gen. Aligbe reminded candidates that the exam aligns with the command's philosophy and that they are on a critical assignment. Their conduct during the exam could significantly impact their careers.
