APC Chieftain Raises Concerns Over World Bank Report on Naira Being Africa's Weakest Currenc
The World Bank recently released a report stating that the Naira, Nigeria's currency, is currently the weakest in Africa. This finding has raised concerns from APC Chieftain Igbokwe, who voiced his alarm over the situation.
In a Facebook post shared this morning, October 18, Igbokwe questioned how Nigeria could find itself in this position, given that it is the "most endowed country in Africa, with the most educated people, excellent weather, and fertile land among other advantageous factors."
According to Igbokwe, the root of the issue is that almost no one in Nigeria works for the collective good; rather, people seem to prioritize their own interests.
