Bishop Thomas Aremu Reaffirms Commitment to Living Faith Church Amid Retirement Rumors

Bishop Thomas Aremu, a former vice president of Living Faith Church, has confirmed that he will remain a member of the organization even after his retirement. His statement comes amid rumors that both he and fellow former vice president, Bishop David Abioye, were sanctioned to retire by the church's founder, Bishop David Oyedepo. Speculation has suggested that the two might leave Living Faith to start their own ministries.

During his farewell ceremony on Tuesday at Winners Chapel in Orita Bashorun, Oyo State, Bishop Aremu addressed the rumors, making it clear that he does not plan to establish a church of his own. He explained that while he may teach at various churches, his teachings will always align with the principles of Living Faith.

"I do not have a church and I cannot have a church because God has not infused me with the capacity to do so. This is my church," Aremu stated. "Even after retirement, I shall remain in the Winners family. I may be privileged to bless other churches that are not Winners, but there is nothing I’m going to teach them other than what I have learned in Winners."
