Flood Submerges Homes in Ogbomoso, Oyo State After Heavy Rainfall

Several homes in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, have been submerged following a flood triggered by heavy rainfall. The incident occurred between Wednesday and Thursday morning, with large amounts of rain reported in some parts of the city.

The flooding was attributed to the Ora River overflowing its banks. The river, which flows through the eastern part of Ogbomoso, caused significant water levels to rise in the surrounding areas.

Among the affected areas were Aduinin and Isale Ora. Notably, a wooden plank store located near the riverbank was affected, and the Cherubim and Seraphim Church building in the vicinity was completely submerged by the floodwaters.

In addition to these locations, other properties in the region were also impacted by the flooding.
