No Casualties Reported as Two-Story Building Collapses in Orile-Iganmu, Lagos

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has confirmed that there were no casualties following a building collapse in the Orile-Iganmu area of Lagos State. The incident occurred on Monday morning when a two-story building on Amusu Street, near Baale Bus Stop, collapsed at approximately 8:45 a.m.

According to Mr. Nosa Okunbor, Head of LASEMA's Public Affairs Unit, the structure collapsed on its own, and no injuries were reported. He stated that the LASEMA Response Teams were conducting a search and rescue operation at the site, and further updates would be provided as the situation developed.

"LASEMA Response Teams in a Search and Rescue Operation are at a self-collapsed building on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu. No casualties and updates to follow," Okunbor said.
