Hamas Official Urges End to U.S. Support for Israel; Netanyahu Congratulates Trump on Projected Win

A senior Hamas official has urged the United States, under Donald Trump, to end its "blind support" for Israel in the ongoing Gaza conflict. In an interview with AFP, Bassem Naim stated, “This blind support for the Zionist entity must end because it comes at the expense of the future of our people and the security and stability of the region.”

In response to the election news, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has extended congratulations to Donald Trump on his expected reelection. Netanyahu remarked that Trump’s return to the White House would reinforce the strong partnership between the United States and Israel.

Though the presidential election results are yet to be finalized, Trump is projected to secure the win as voting has concluded in all locations.
