Mrs. Islamiya Abdulraheem Appointed Acting Registrar of University of Abuja

The University of Abuja’s governing council has approved the appointment of Mrs. Islamiya Abdulraheem as the acting registrar. The decision was made on November 5, 2024, during the council’s 71st Extraordinary meeting.

Prior to this role, Mrs. Abdulraheem served as the Deputy Registrar for Establishment and as the Deputy Registrar for the Vice Chancellor’s Office. Her appointment as acting registrar is set to commence on November 12, 2024, as confirmed in a statement by Dr. Habib Yakoo, the university’s Acting Director of Information and University Relations.

Mrs. Abdulraheem will be succeeding Malam Yahaya Mohammed, who will be stepping down on November 12 after completing a five-year tenure as registrar.
