NNPCL Conducts Transparent Computer-Based Tests for Recruitment, Ensures Equal Opportunities for All

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has commenced computer-based aptitude tests to recruit candidates for various positions within the state-owned oil company.

The announcement was made on Saturday via NNPCL’s official Facebook page, where the organization revealed that 45,689 applicants are vying for the available positions.

“At various centres across the country, 45,689 applicants are participating in a transparent and inclusive recruitment process as the Computer-Based Aptitude Test for NNPC Ltd.’s recruitment begins today,” the statement read.

Mele Kyari, NNPCL’s Group Chief Executive Officer, visited one of the test centres and reiterated the company’s commitment to fairness and transparency. He assured Nigerians that only the most qualified candidates would be selected for employment.

“As an equal opportunity employer, NNPC Ltd. has made special provisions to ensure that applicants with disabilities can take the test without any hindrance,” Kyari emphasized.

NNPCL had earlier announced the recruitment process in July 2024, aiming to attract top talent for its workforce.

The computer-based tests mark a significant step in ensuring a credible and merit-based hiring process, reinforcing NNPCL’s commitment to inclusivity and excellence in its recruitment practices.
