President Tinubu Appoints Eight New Permanent Secretaries to the Federal Civil Service
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries to the Federal Civil Service. The appointments are expected to address existing and upcoming vacancies across various states and geographic zones.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:
- Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State)
- Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State)
- Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State)
- Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State)
- Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State)
- Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State)
- Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State)
- Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
This announcement was made in a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu’s media aide.
According to Onanuga, this is the second group of eight permanent secretaries appointed under President Tinubu’s administration. The first group, appointed in June, included candidates from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, and the South-East and South-South zones.
The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended the appointees following a rigorous selection process.
In the statement, President Tinubu urged the new permanent secretaries to approach their roles with increased dedication, creativity, and commitment to serving the nation.
