Kaduna Governor Reaffirms Support for Security Efforts at Air Force Cultural Event

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has reiterated his administration's commitment to supporting security initiatives aimed at achieving lasting peace in the state.

Speaking as the guest of honor at the 2024 Base Socio-Cultural event hosted by the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, Sani lauded the collaborative efforts of security agencies in maintaining peace and urged them to sustain their vigilance against criminal elements.

The governor particularly commended the Nigerian Air Force for its contributions to the North-West region and its efforts to foster strong civilian-military relationships. He noted that cultural events such as these highlight the importance of diversity and unity in Nigeria while strengthening ties between the government and security agencies in Kaduna State.

Represented by Dr. James Kanyip, Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Sani praised the organizers for showcasing the nation’s unity in diversity through the event.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Major General Mayirenso Saraso, General Officer Commanding the Nigerian Army's 1st Mechanised Division, and Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, AVM Abubakar Abdullahi. Also present was Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau.
