Kano State Verifies Over 5,797 Homes in Healthcare Access Initiative

The Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) has verified more than 5,797 homes as part of its ongoing Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) enrollee verification campaign. This initiative spans 84 wards in seven targeted Local Government Areas across the state.

A statement released on Monday by KSCHMA’s Public Relations Officer, Aminu Ahmad Turaki, shared the update, which was disclosed by the agency’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar, during the organization’s weekly briefing.

According to Dr. Muktar, as of January 5, a total of 7,129 beneficiaries have been sighted and verified under the project. This effort aims to enhance access to high-quality healthcare services in Kano State, ensuring more residents benefit from improved healthcare coverage.
