Pastor Adeboye Responds to AI-Generated Image of Him as an Al

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has addressed an AI-generated image circulating online that depicts him dressed as an Alhaji praying in Mecca.

The image, which appeared late last year, shows Pastor Adeboye performing the Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, while dressed in traditional Islamic attire. It was later confirmed to be an artificial creation generated by AI technology.

Speaking at the inaugural Holy Ghost Night of 2025, held early Saturday morning, Pastor Adeboye commented on the picture. "I'm sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an Alhaji," he said, referencing the viral image.

The speech, as reported by Church Times Nigeria, marked Pastor Adeboye's first public acknowledgment of the widely circulated image.
