Zamfara Adviser Appeals for Federal Support to Tackle Insecurity
Alhaji Illiyasu Buhari Maijega, Special Adviser on Political Affairs to Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, has called on the federal government to provide enhanced security assistance to address the ongoing issue of banditry in the state.
Speaking during a press briefing in Gusau, the state capital, Maijega emphasized the need for collective efforts to restore peace and stability in affected communities.
“A single individual cannot resolve the issue of insecurity in Zamfara State; it is a collective responsibility,” he stated.
He further highlighted the importance of peace as a foundation for community development and encouraged residents to remain hopeful and united in their efforts to achieve stability.
Maijega also commended the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for their continued efforts in combating insecurity and urged them to intensify their operations to ensure safety for all.
