Zelensky: Meeting Putin Depends on Agreement with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that a face-to-face meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin would only be possible after reaching an agreement with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Speaking at a media briefing in Munich on Friday, Zelensky emphasized Trump’s potential role in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict, according to a European Pravda correspondent.

He revealed that before Friday’s Munich Security Conference, Trump had personally given him his direct phone number.

Earlier in the week, Trump had a phone conversation with Putin, marking a notable shift in diplomatic engagement. This interaction has sparked discussions about a potential shift in U.S. policy regarding the conflict.
